Blue Angel

I set a challenge on the CMLI group on Craft Bubble which was 'Movie Quotes'. The rest of the group have come up with some fabulous cards and I am so late with my own entry!

I was sorting out my Crimble card making stuff, so it's all in one box now. I came across these lovely die cuts by LOTV that I must have had at least 4 years!

I added star dust and waterfall stickles and used nesties for the die cuts. Ribbon and gem from stash  and sentiment is by Pink Petticoat.

My movie quote is from City of Angels which I love!

'She said, what good would wings be if you couldn't feel the wind on your face?'

I will be entering this card into the following challenges;

Charisma Cardz Challenges - Things with Wings
PaperPlay Challenges - Choose a holiday
Fab'n'Funky Challenges - Things with Wings

Candy is a girl with a very loving nature and comes across as being a little shy when she first meets you but this soon disappears when she gets to know you - she has had 114 races and last raced in June 2011 - travels very well just gets in the car and lays down - would make an ideal pet.
Her litter sister Iver Posh has been homed and has made a wonderful pet - Candy has not been tested with domestic dogs or cats

Foliage Challenge (ish)

After visiting Snazzy's on Monday with Kathy and seeing some gorgeous foliage cards we kind of set a challenge for each other to produce something similar. Kathy bought the fabby set which just looking at, didn't do it justice, but here is the set and fabby card she made here.

After looking through my stash I didn't really have any foliage to stamp around the outside so ended up using ' A Little Bit Sketchy'  by Sheena Douglas. The main stamp is Stamp 08 by Kanban - can't find the name sorry! Di's used were tattered rose, victorian velvet,milled lavender and spun sugar. Sentiment is Craftwork Cards but I think there is a problem with the 'h'.  May not be using that again!

I used the post it method which Kathy used but did get some ink overspill..I think I need bigger post it's.

Hope your Thursday is going well!

Classy Anya in Pink and Green

 I got the classy Anya set which has 3 stamps and this is the first one I have used so far (I really should shop my stash more!)
I have coloured her with promarkers and used stardust stickles for the edges and glossy accents and glitter for the sparkly bits on her hat and shoes.

 Papers are My Mind Eye 'Asparagus'
Ribbons from American Crafts
Sentiment from Craftwork Cards

 Die cuts are Nesties
Flower die is Marianne
Button from stash
 Corner punch by Martha Stewart

The colour scheme is not what I would usually go for but I am really pleased with how it turned out.

I will be entering this card into the following challenges;

Use it Tuesday - Anything Goes (hoarded supplies - paper,ribbon, sentiment)
Paper Shelter - Punched or Die cut
Totally Gorjuss - Pink and Green

Sparklers

 (2nd post of the day)

Another uninked stamp - inked. Love this PB stamp.

A shopping we will go

well we did yesterday! I met with the Purple Princess  at Snazzy's in Swindon. Took us both about an hour to get there, and i have never been to Snazzy's before. We were both quite restrained as they only took cash or cheque but they had lots of lovely goodies!

This is what I restricted myself too, but am looking forward to seeing that Christmas one in embossing powder!

We headed off to the outlet mall in Kathy's car so we had an excuse to come back, and had a lovely lunch!

 We visited some lovely handbag shops, cadbury shop and I was very excited to see a skechers shop too...the shoes i wanted were £20 off but not in my size..bum.

 We headed back to snazzies and had a frappacino (?sp) and a latte.

There is Snazzies in the background. It was starting to rain so we headed inside and the heavens opened..good excuse for more drinks and chat! Was a lovely day and we will be doing it again in November!

Hope everyone's Tuesday is going well

Citrus Butterflies

(2nd post of the day)

As I am going shopping with a crafting pal tomorrow to Snazzy's I thought I better make an effort to ink uninked stamps! Today's earlier post was uninked as were these little beauties..

These stamps are by Craftwork Cards and called Butterflies and Blooms - although I haven't put any blooms on the card. I think the sentiment is by elzybells and the inks are memento; pear tart, cantaloupe and tangelo.

I will be entering this card into the following challenges;

Annabelle Stamps - Lime, Mango, Orange and White

An attempt at using di's....

I used versafine to stamp, the only thing with that is that it permanently stains your stamp. I followed Dena's fabulous tutorial but think I need smaller brushes and to be a bit quicker blending as I have some obvious lines..

could have been worse though!

Memento ink Paris Dusk and Sweet Plum
Craftwork Cards Candi Alphabet
Lindsay Mason Designs Crystal Ball Fairy

Hope you like them, be brave and have a go!

I am entering these moo's into the following challenges;
