Welcome to my blog!

From x stitch I moved into card making - now I am playing around with mixed media! I am taking part in different workshops and with help from crafty pals, learning about different mediums and techniques. Hope you feel inspired to create after a visit to my blog - Happy Crafting!

Dog of the Week

This lovely chap is Boycie!

Boycie is one of our older black boys with a very good nature - he is very loving and really enjoys his cuddles - travels very well in a car no problems at all

Sadly Boycie has been waiting since 2012 for his forever home - if you are thinking of offering an older boy a home please consider Boycie - even the folks in the Kennels can not understand why he is still waiting!

Boycie has has 82 Races (Ireland and England) and last raced at Oxford in February 2012 - he has not been tested with domestic dogs or cats

If you can offer this lovely boy a home please visit here

Moonshine - New Flower Moon

Again I used acrylic paints with this but also used gelatos and pens for shading - I 'm quite pleased with how it turned out!

I scraped some green paint around with a palette knife for the background and then used a gold marker for the swirls.

Hope you all have something craft planned this weekend!

Dog of the Week

This is Bluebell!

Bluebell is a very pretty girl who has been described as being quiet in the Kennels with a very loving nature - Bluebell last raced in December 2013 having had 91 Races - she has not been tested with domestic dogs or cats - travels well

Moonshine - Goddess Flora

I'm not as happy with her - I did the background first and then painted her over the top. By doing this I feel I had less control over her shape and features - but I'm happy with the background

Just realised I forgot to put her name on - whoops!

The weekend is in sight - yippee!!!
